Virgilio Macalma Pascual is an accomplished nursing consultant, healthcare strategist, and organizational leader with extensive experience in skilled nursing operations, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement. As the Board President, he brings his expertise in leadership, systems development, team building and organizational management to advancing the Foundation’s cultural, educational, and community initiatives. His humility, integrity, and willingness to listen enable him to foster collaboration and bring people together in support of the Foundation's mission. His commitment to service, empowering others, and preserving Paoay's heritage reflects his dedication to making a meaningful difference in the community. Christine Echiverri is a medical technologist with a strong commitment to supporting children during the critical early stages of their development. She is particularly passionate about empowering elementary school children and advocating for those with special needs and unique learning needs. Highly organized, dependable, and actively involved, Christine is a hands-on member of the Foundation who follows through and gets things done. She is also a dedicated and effective fundraiser, using her personal connections, enthusiasm, and commitment to the Foundation’s mission to inspire others to give and support its programs. Her initiative, reliability, and genuine concern for the community make her a valued and trusted member of the Annak Ti Paoay Foundation Board.

Hedy Evangelista is a committed Clerk of Court whose work reflects integrity, fairness, and deep respect for the justice system. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and professionalism, she brings accuracy, accountability, and sound judgment to everything she undertakes. With an accounting background and professional training in accountancy, Hedy brings valuable financial knowledge to the Foundation and is well suited to serve as its Chief Financial Officer, helping ensure responsible financial management and stewardship. Beyond her professional roles, Hedy is a compassionate community advocate whose values of justice, fairness, compassion, and generosity align closely with the mission of the Annak Ti Paoay Foundation.

A native of Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Marjorie Perdido was raised by parents who instilled in her an early appreciation for education and firsthand insight into the challenges faced by children from financially struggling families. Marjorie built a career in the laboratory field, advancing to the Kaiser Permanente Regional Laboratory management team, where she continues to lead teams and support excellence in laboratory services. Her executive and management experience is a valuable asset to the Annak Ti Paoay Foundation, contributing to the effective administration of its programs, coordination of volunteers, and development of sound organizational practices. Her upbringing instilled in her the values of education, hard work, humility, and service. She is committed to giving back to the community that shaped her and helping create opportunities for the next generation of Paoayeños. Her involvement is also a way of honoring her parents, her roots, and her enduring connection to Paoay.




JOEL MACULAM

Joel Maculam brings nearly three decades of experience in technology, business, and taxation to the Annak Ti Paoay Foundation. He served as a Senior Software Programmer at California State University, Long Beach for 28 years, where he developed extensive expertise in software systems and technology. In addition to his professional career, Joel brings valuable knowledge in business operations and financial matters, to the Foundation. His longstanding involvement reflects his dedication to the Foundation's mission and to preserving the spirit of Annak Ti Paoay—people coming together to support and uplift their community. Through his professional experience, business knowledge, and commitment to community service, Joel continues to be a valuable contributor to the Foundation's work..​

Liza Vives (Isabelita Macalma Vives) is a native of Barangay #8 San Agustin, Sitio Suyo, Paoay, and has called Southern California home since 1993. A registered nurse with more than 33 years of experience, she brings a wealth of experience in healthcare, patient advocacy, compassion, and community service to the Annak Ti Paoay Foundation. Her profession has given her a deep understanding of the importance of caring for others, responding to community needs, and serving people with dignity and respect. Combined with her strong ties to Paoay and her lifelong commitment to helping others, Liza brings a valuable perspective to the Board and contributes meaningfully to the Foundation’s programs, community initiatives, and mission.

Roger is particularly passionate about helping provide food and shelter to families and individuals in need in Paoay and Currimao. As an Operations and General Manager of a distribution and wholesale company, she has developed strong skills in leadership, planning, coordination, resource management, and problem-solving. Her extensive managerial and operational experience is a valuable asset to the Foundation, helping strengthen its administration and ensure the effective implementation of its programs. Marietta also brings strong fundraising skills and a keen appreciation for the preservation and revival of Paoay’s cultural heritage, making her a valuable contributor to the Foundation’s fundraising and cultural initiatives. She is particularly committed to supporting livelihood programs that create opportunities for individuals and families to build a better future.

Rhea Dy-Blankas is a dynamic nurse leader, seasoned healthcare executive, and compassionate community advocate whose career reflects a powerful blend of clinical expertise, operational excellence, and humanitarian commitment. As the Chief Operating Officer of a healthcare management services company, she oversees complex organizational systems, drives strategic growth, and ensures high quality care delivery across diverse healthcare settings. She believes that generosity knows no bound because even though she is born and raised in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, she willingly shares her blessing to the poor and underprivileged families of Paoay—an ethos that guides both her professional work and her community service.

As the Chief Executive Officer of a construction company serving the commercial and public sectors, Beverly Schuchmacher brings a strong understanding of business operations, project management, strategic planning, and organizational development. Her experience with public construction projects has taught her to anticipate challenges, assess risks, and plan ahead—qualities that strengthen the Board’s decision-making and oversight. Having served on the boards of other nonprofit organizations, she also brings valuable experience in nonprofit governance, community engagement, and service.
